  • Who we are?

    Séché in Chile is a company specialized in waste recovery, treatment and management of highly complex industrial waste (hazardous and non-hazardous), with special emphasis on remediation and rehabilitation of contaminated soils and sites.

    We started our activity in 2008 and since 2017 we are part the Séché, a French international group with more than 30 years of experience in the recovery, treatment and management of complex, hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

    We have a Waste Management Center in Sierra Gorda in Northern Chile, and we expect to begin the development of an Integrated Industrial Waste Management Center in the Metropolitan Region by 2020.

    Taking into account the industrial growth of Chile, along with increasingly stringent environmental and social regulations, we seek to positions ourselves as a strategic partner, in order to help  industries to accomplish their social and environmental commitments, through processes that meet the highest standards.

    In Séché we have the needed facilities, the qualified staff, as well as the know-how to recover, treat and manage all types of industrial waste. Our quality service and our ability to adapt to the needs of our customers have allowed us to consolidate ourselves as a leader in industrial waste management.

  • Treatment plant

    Our industrial site for the management and treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste, located at KM 45 Route B-385, Salar de Atacama Road, Sierra Gorda, Antofagasta region, operates under the environmental permit RCA 0327/2005 of Conama and sanitary resolution 1680/2008 of the “Seremi de Salud of Antofagasta”.

    Our main activity is the integrated management of solid and liquid industrial waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous, including temporary storage and final disposal, as well as treatment systems allowing the recovery and stabilization of waste.

    We comply strictly with the provisions of Supreme Decree 148 and the Health Regulations on Hazardous Waste Management 2003 of the Ministry of Health.

Environmental permit RCA No.0156 of February 28, 2012, authorizing the removal, transportation and transfer of Hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste.

Sanitary authorization

    1. Resolution No. 1680 of May 12, 2008, SEREMI Salud Antofagasta, authorizing treatment and final disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste
    2. Resolution No 2063 of June 16 2008, SEREMI Salud Antofagasta, authorizing treatment and final disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste, correction of SAN RUT (ID #).

Certifications

We are certified by AENOR in the following standards:
